A fully integrated RC oscillator with adaptive-body-biasing

A fully integrated CMOS RC oscillator is presented. The inverter-based. An adaptive body biasing(ABB) scheme proposed to regulate the trip point of decision inverter adaptively, thus alleviating frequency variation over PVT. To achieve low power consumption all components are in sub-threshold region. circuit designed a 55-nm process with an area 0.052 mm2. simulation result shows temperature sensitivity 59 ppm/℃ from -40∼125℃ which achieves 72 reduction as compared without ABB. operates at 33kHz and consumes 183 nW 0.6V supply.
